My Small Business

Artpy is a family-owned business that my sister and I founded in 2020 out of our shared love for Arts and Crafts. Living in Brazil, we found it challenging to find the necessary materials for DIY projects. As a result, we decided to create Artpy to solve this problem for ourselves and others.

Artpy, which stands for "Art + Therapy," is so much more than just a craft kit. We believe that making art can be a therapeutic experience, especially in today's fast-paced world. Our goal is to provide a way for people to take a break from their busy lives and reconnect with their creativity.

Each Artpy kit is carefully crafted to be unique, with a focus on providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience for our customers. We hope that our kits can serve as a reminder to take time for yourself and have fun creating something beautiful.

As a small business owner…

I was responsible for every aspect of my product-driven business. From finances and inventory management to customer service, marketing, photo styling, and more, there was always something new to learn.

As a designer, I also had a specific focus on packaging, collateral graphics, and social media design. I understood that every touchpoint with the customer was an opportunity to create a strong brand identity and visual language that would resonate with them.

We source and sell art materials kits by encouraging non-artists to incorporate art into their lives to improve and remind them to have a relaxing fun time outside their normal routine

  • Partnership with Dior Beauty

Artpy partnered with Dior to create a unique PR package for a Father's Day influencer campaign. We worked with 10 influencers who received Dior's new perfume along with painting materials for kids to decorate the box and give to their dads as a personalized gift.

The campaign was a great success, allowing us to showcase our creativity and design skills while also promoting Dior's new product in a fun and engaging way. We were thrilled to be part of such a special project.

  • Partnership with Lar das Crianças

O Lar das Crianças has the mission to empower children from socially vulnerable families by providing them with opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. To celebrate Children's Day, we created a special kit and donated 10% of our profits to the organization. In addition, we also donated all the materials from kits that didn't sell, ensuring that every child had access to the tools they needed to unleash their creativity and imagination.

We're proud to support O Lar das Crianças and the important work they do to help children in need. By giving back to our community, we hope to inspire others to do the same and make a positive impact in the world.

  • Partnership with stores

After just two months of launching our business, we were thrilled to see our kits being sold in physical stores. Our products quickly gained popularity, and we expanded our reach to three different stores in São Paulo, Brazil.
