I worked as an intern in Spring 2023 and later as a freelance Production Assistant for Patrick J Clayton. Some of my responsibilities included organization of the bins before the event, setup and strike, as shown below.

Event: BoostCamp
BoostCamp featured a morning workout shoot followed by an afternoon group workout, organized by Boost Nutrition.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup: Setting up the workout room by arranging yoga mats, water bottles, towels, and bags for the participants. Additionally, I set up the bar area with drinks, ensuring everything was in place for the workout sessions.

  • During the Event: I stayed on-site to oversee the smooth running of the activities. This involved managing the flow of participants, assisting with any needs, and ensuring the timely availability of refreshments. I also handled coat check services, providing a secure and organized system for guests' belongings.

  • Strike: At the end of the event, I assisted with the breakdown and cleanup of the venue. This included collecting and packing up all materials, and ensuring that the space was left in good condition.

Event: Kay Jewelers
This event was organized to showcase Kay Jewelers' new product line, offering guests an exclusive preview of the latest jewelry pieces in a refined and elegant setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup: I was involved in arranging tables adorned with flowers to enhance the presentation of the jewelry. I also installed vinyl displays to complement the brand's aesthetics and product showcase.

  • During Event: I stayed on-site to assist with event operations, ensuring everything ran smoothly and providing support as needed.

  • Strike: At the end of the event, I assisted with the breakdown and cleanup, ensuring that all materials were properly packed and the venue was returned to its original state.

Event: Summersalt
The Summersalt event was a dinner designed to showcase a new line of products, offering an elegant dining experience to highlight the brand's latest offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Strike: After the event, I assisted with the breakdown and cleanup, ensuring that the venue was returned to its original state. This included packing up any remaining materials and dismantling setup elements used during the event.

This role involved ensuring a smooth transition from event conclusion to post-event cleanup, contributing to the overall success and professionalism of the Summersalt product launch.

Event: MCM X ONYX
The MCM X ONYX event celebrated the launch of MCM's first men’s cologne, Black Onyx, featuring a sophisticated launch party.

Responsibilities:
As an intern, I was responsible for placing vinyl on mirrors to create an impressive photo wall and setting up a merchandising table that showcased the cologne and its key ingredients. These elements were crucial in highlighting the product’s unique qualities and creating an engaging experience for guests.

This role allowed me to contribute to the event's success by ensuring that the product was effectively presented and that the event environment aligned with MCM's brand image

Event: Call Me Queen
This drag queen show celebrated Essence's new mascara line, "Call Me Queen," with vibrant performances and a glamorous setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup: I was responsible for setting up the event space, which included arranging beautiful floral displays and preparing makeup gift bags for attendees.

  • During the Event: I remained on-site to ensure everything ran smoothly. This included managing last-minute adjustments and making sure all makeup gift bags were distributed.

  • Strike: After the event, I assisted with the breakdown and cleanup of the venue, ensuring that all materials were properly packed and the space was returned to its original state.

Event: ImPRESS by Kiss
The Impress Manicure event was organized to showcase Kiss's new Impress press-on pedicure line, featuring a stylish and interactive setting for guests to experience the latest in nail care.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup: I assembled the photo opportunities, arranged merchandise, and placed floral decorations to create an inviting and visually appealing environment for the showcase.

  • During Event: I stayed on-site to assist with event operations, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and addressing any needs that arose.

  • Strike: After the event, I helped with the breakdown and cleanup, ensuring that all setup elements were carefully packed and the venue was returned to its original condition.

Event: Good Festival
The Good Festival was a day-long event held in a New Jersey mall, focusing on sustainability. It featured various brand booths, a jeans recycling station, and a stage area with performances, aiming to promote eco-friendly practices and products.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup: I was responsible for installing vinyl displays on the booths.

  • During the Event: I assisted at the jeans recycling booth, where attendees could came with their old jeans for an arts & Crafts upcycling station, and at the LEGO booth, where participants engaged in creative and educational activities. My role included providing information, guiding visitors, and managing booth activities to ensure an engaging experience.

Event: Falscara
The Falscara event featured a masterclass and cocktail hour to introduce Kiss's new line of fake lashes, offering guests a blend of education and social engagement in a chic and stylish environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup: I set up the cocktail space, arranged floral decorations, created photo opportunities, and organized merchandising displays to showcase the Falscara product line effectively.

  • During Event: I remained on-site to ensure the event ran smoothly, assisting guests and supporting event activities as needed.

  • Strike: After the event, I assisted with the breakdown and cleanup, ensuring all setup elements were carefully disassembled and packed away.

Event: Planet Oat x Girls Who Walk
This event was a partnership between Planet Oat Creamer and Girls Who Walk, featuring a coffee cart set up in Central Park to serve coffee before the participants' walk.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup: I arranged the coffee and Planet Oat products in the cart, ensuring an attractive and organized presentation to engage and delight attendees.

  • During Event: I served coffee with Planet Oat creamers to the participants, providing a pleasant and refreshing experience as they prepared for their walk.

  • Strike: After the event, I assisted with the breakdown and cleanup, ensuring that all materials were packed up and the cart was returned to its original state.

Event: Hawaiian Tropic
The Hawaiian Tropic event featured a staycation and lunch, providing guests with a relaxed and enjoyable experience while showcasing the brand's products.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup: I prepared the lunch area by arranging tables, finishing the green wall for a tropical ambiance, and setting up Hawaiian Tropic products to create an inviting display.

  • During Event: I remained on-site to ensure the event ran smoothly, assisting guests and managing any needs or issues that arose.

  • Strike: After the event, I assisted with the breakdown and cleanup, making sure all materials were packed up and the venue was returned to its original state.

Event: Dial
The Dial event celebrated 75 years of the brand with a staycation and dinner, offering a luxurious and memorable experience for guests.

Responsibilities:
As an intern, I played a key role in the pre-production and setup phases:

  • Pre-Production: I single-handedly cut and placed beads into the showerhead, which served as the main photo opportunity, creating a visually striking centerpiece for the event.

  • Setup: I arranged the rooms with vinyl placements on mirrors, set up gift bags for guests, and incorporated Dial products into the dinner setting to enhance the event's thematic presentation.

Event: Got2B
The Got2B launch event introduced their new Metallics line, featuring a dynamic and visually impactful setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Production: I separated the different colors of Mylar into bins, preparing them for the setup phase.

  • Setup: As an intern, I helped with the entrance wall by placing 80 layers of Mylar and cutting it to create the desired shape. I also assisted with vinyl placement to ensure accurate branding.

Event: Kiss Colors & Care
The Kiss Colors & Care event was an extravagant celebration featuring a fashion show, a full salon setup, a shopping center, celebrity sightings, and countless photo opportunities, creating a truly immersive experience.

Responsibilities:
As an intern, I was involved in:

  • Pre-Production: Assembled hundreds of fake hair pieces, braided and dyed ropes to resemble real hair, preparing them for the event's various setups.

  • Setup: Assisted with the hair photo opportunity by placing hair into the structure and organizing its flow to ensure a visually striking display.
